Could Ottawa have one of the best qualities of life in the world? According to Numbeo’s 2015 ‘Mid-Year Quality of Life Index’, our great city ranked 3rd worldwide in overall quality of life. I knew we had it pretty good here, but this is quite a pleasant surprise 
THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF OTTAWA
This rating was based mainly on purchasing power, safety, property price to income ratio, and low pollution. And this goes along with what I’ve been saying about real estate in Ottawa; its still very affordable compared with many major cities.
‘The city offers housing options for every style, from urban sphistication to pure country charm. Its clean and beautiful downtown is surrounded by cozy neighborhoods’ says the article at Point2Homes. And I would also like to comment that we have so many options for incredible waterfront cottages on beautiful lakes, and they’re all within a short drive from downtown. We are truly blessed around here.
Another surprise I found out while reading this article, is that nearly half the population of Ottawa is under 35. More than just boring politicians, we have lots of young, hip people, and many fun activities to do.
