$1 Billion development in the heart of downtown?? This is a first for Ottawa. And a very welcome addition in my opinion

Without going into too much detail, Zibi appears to be one of, if the not biggest residential/commercial development project this city has ever seen. Spanning from Ottawa to Gatineau, this project has a diverse mix of residential condos, commercial buildings, retail, parkspace, hotel, and more. Zibi appears to be a much needed overhaul of a prime piece of land, that will provide a very exciting new attraction for locals and tourists.
Definitely an exciting project for Ottawa’s core, we will have to hope that Windmill does a good job of the design and layout of this massive development. Oh, and we’ll have to say a prayer that the city/government smartens up and puts some money towards improving our traffic systems through downtown (can we bring back the Kettle Island Bridge yet?!).
