I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually very excited for this upcoming hotel and condo development by Claridge. Surprising, I know 
As you will see from the pictures and renderings, this time they’ve actually designed a visually appealing, all-glass, modern condo building. Not your typical rectangular box, the facades have interesting depths and angles, with mostly glass (finally), and cool designs for balconies and terraces. They’ve definitely stepped it up this time, and so they should as this is a very rare, and prime location in the absolute center of the Byward Market.
Consisting of a 22 storey residential tower, and a 15 storey hotel, the controversial development looks to be on its way to approval (not without some opposition from a few lowertown residents)
