Hello Ottawa and the Ottawa real estate world!

Everyone loves custom homes.  And Ottawa just happens to have some very incredible and inspiring homes being built by some very talented people.  So, I’ve decided that we’re going to talk a little about that (and don’t worry, I’ll talk briefly about the monthly statistics for home sales & prices as well :))

Let’s put aside our complaints and gripes about costs of living for a minute (yes, we all hate paying property tax and interest payments!), and let’s focus on the fun side of real estate; the architecture and design.  Ottawa is seeing a lot of progression in the custom home area for the past number of years, and its a very refreshing sight.  Areas like Westboro, Glebe, Beechwood, & Hintonburg are all seeing very cool urban infill popping up, with unique and modern style.  Architecture/design has many cool aspects, from the major and minor details of functionality to exterior facade to the aesthetic appearance of every surface of every room.  I’ve included a few links to builders & designers who, in my opinion, are doing some very impressive work in this city.  So take a look at these sites, skim through some of the homes being built, and then call me so we can put a plan together for how we’re going to get you into one of these beauties
