Well look at you, Ottawa. Another major development has been approved for one of the downtown Ottawa’s old and upscale neighborhoods. The lands surrounding St Paul’s university in old Ottawa East are scheduled for a slew of new residential homes and condos. While I’ve read that it will consist of three 9-storey condos, a 6-storey and two 4-storeys, my guess is that this plan will change a few times before its final.
And my guess/hope is that they’ll build a bridge that connects this development with the upcoming LRT station across the river. If they don’t, then I’ll open a ferry service for everyone, with food, drink, music, dancing, maybe some wakesurfing….. okay, fine, no wakesurfing.
