Despite some ‘not-so-warm’ weather 
there are some very exciting things happening around Ottawa right now. It looks like we’re headed for some major developments and changes in infrastructure.
First off, Lebreton Flats. Wow. The biggest urban development in Ottawa’s history; it’s going to change the entire dynamic of our city forever. And this is happening right beside Zibi, the second largest urban development this city has ever seen. Get ready, cuz this is going to be a huge transformation that will affect almost everyone.
This all means an influx of spending in these areas, residential & commercial intensification, increased amenities, new retail business, and an overall stronger demand for real estate (and the Ottawa Senators stadium is moving downtown :)). For property owners over there, get ready for an upswing. For investors looking for the next opportunities, this is it. For home-buyers, this is a golden opportunity that doesn’t come along too often.
On top of all of this, the new LRT rail system will be travelling right through these neighborhoods. It really is the perfect storm for a real estate boom.
